The PPSSPP emulator, developed by Henrik Rydell, has been instrumental in allowing PSP games to be played on other platforms, including Android. However, running GTA V, a game originally designed for much more powerful hardware, on these devices poses significant technical challenges. The game's size, complexity, and the emulator's ability to translate the game's instructions into a format that can be understood by Android devices or PCs are considerable hurdles.

While there have been community efforts to port GTA V or similar games to various platforms, these projects are often complex and may not result in a stable or playable experience. For PSP and Android devices, due to the significant hardware limitations, a smooth GTA V experience is unlikely.

The GTA V ISO for PPSSPP is a total conversion mod. Developers have replaced textures, player models (to look like Michael, Franklin, and Trevor), the HUD/Mini-map, and the vehicle library to mirror the console version of Grand Theft Auto V.
