When Warner Bros. originally released Babylon 5 on DVD in the early 2000s, they made a critical error for the widescreen seasons (Seasons 2-4). The show was shot on Super 35 film (protecting for widescreen) but the visual effects (CGI) were rendered in 4:3 standard definition. To create "widescreen" DVDs, Warner Bros. cropped the CGI footage and the live-action footage. Please seed
