One of the most significant aspects of my trip was the way I wore my hijab. I had always been self-conscious about wearing it in public, worried about what others might think or say. But, as I walked through the town, I realized that my hijab was not just a piece of cloth; it was a symbol of my faith, my culture, and my identity.
The hijab, a traditional headscarf worn by many Muslim women, can be a symbol of identity, modesty, and faith. For Ariel, wearing a hijab may be an important aspect of her daily life, and her decision to wear it on her "trip" could signify her commitment to her values and cultural background.
As I reflect on my time in Ariel, I'm reminded of the power of flexibility and openness. What started as a solo trip turned into a journey of connection, growth, and self-discovery. I learned that even in unfamiliar places, we can find a sense of community and belonging. And, of course, I got my work done!
