The story centers on a remote village, Mount Heaven, which is marked for extermination. To save the villagers, a former executioner-turned-swordsman, Fu Qingzhu, recruits four young swordsmen. They journey to Mount Heaven to retrieve legendary swords forged by a recluse hermit. Armed with these seven unique weapons, the group returns to protect the villagers and stand against the overwhelming might of the Fire-Wind army.
