The first thing that caught my attention was the sleek, modern design of the Xex menu. The layout is clean and organized, making it incredibly easy to navigate, even for those who are new to custom menus. The visuals are crisp, and the overall aesthetic is sure to impress.
However, the performance in this verified build is snappy. On older builds, loading large external hard drives (2TB+) could result in freezing or stuttering. In testing this new build on a Jasper JTAG with a 4TB drive, the file indexing was noticeably faster. Navigating directories feels smoother, and the font rendering issues that plagued some PAL consoles seem to have been resolved.
