CadSoft originally developed EAGLE in Germany. In 2016, Autodesk acquired CadSoft, and EAGLE became part of Autodesk’s Fusion 360 ecosystem. Version 6.50 preceded the acquisition, representing a mature release of the classic standalone EAGLE.
